In 1984 Arrow Bulk Carriers was established in Johannesburg. As a carrier of bitumenm gas, and various oils, this company quickly became a competitor in the industry and with the experience and knowledge of its directors, a gap in the market was identified and in 1986, Javelin Trucking was born as a sister company to Arrow Bulk Carriers focussing on the specialised bulk transportation of solvents, HFO (heavy furnace oil), palm oil, and acid.
In 1988, Arrow Bulk Carriers shifted its focus to concentrate on the transportation of fuel and this proved to the a turning point for the company as Imperial Logistics bought in and the company grew exponentially over the coming years.
In 1994 Arrow Bulk Carriers became Fuelogic with its core operations being fuel transportation. Fuelogic soon developed into the largest fuel transporter in the country and was sold in 2008 to Grinrod.
Grinrod continued operation from the original Fuelogic premises until 2015. Once the company moved its operations, MSC Fuel Supplies was established and continues to operate with a highly experienced management team and a well-known and established premises.
